Players Infomation email as of 19th March 2025:
Its 2025 Fruehauf Omaha Pro Am week! The course and weather are looking awesome for us rolling into the weekend. Here's what you need to know for this week. With the draw to be finalised is10 am below. This email has only gone to the registered emails received. I recommend you ask or forward this email to your team players. Please make sure you are on your allocated tee for 10am, we recommend planning to arrive for registration no later than 30 mins before tee off.
Practice Rounds:
Practice rounds are available on Friday for all sponsors and professionals before noon. After that, the course will be closed for final preparations. If you’d like to book a practice round for Friday, please email go@omahagolf.co.nz or visit the golf shop.
Course Updates:
Since last year’s Pro-Am, we’ve made significant improvements and developments to the course. We now have a full chipping green with bunker facilities at the end of the practice green, as well as a brand-new, massive putting green next to the clubhouse with every break and slope you could ask for. A reminder to all players: please do not practice on the course greens the day before your shotgun start or on the way to your tee.
Course Layout:
The traditional Hole 3, the par 3 before crossing the road, is now our 19th hole and will not be in play this week. The par 3 between holes 1 and 2 will officially become Hole 2, and the current Hole 2 will become Hole 3. The scorecards will be updated accordingly, so there's no need to memorise the changes, but this is important for the 2 groups stating on those holes to be aware before teeing off.
Registration:
Registration will open at the clubhouse each day at 7:00 AM through till 9:30 AM. On Day 1, we’ll have goodie bags available for you to collect. One person can collect on behalf of the entire team, or individuals can collect their bags separately. The driving range will be available each day, and on Friday, players can purchase range balls from the golf shop. You will be provided with the rules on the morning of registration and the professionals will collect all the scorecards for the group.
